Zheying Zhang

University Lecturer

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, in 2004 and was later awarded the title of Docent in Software Development at the University of Tampere in 2013. Currently, I am a University Lecturer at Tampere University, where I have accumulated over 15 years of research and teaching experience in software engineering, with a specialization in requirements management.

My research interests include requirements analysis, domain modeling, quality assurance, software process improvement, and data-driven approaches to software development and maintenance. Recently, I have become particularly fascinated by the significant potential of AI and large language models in software projects. Over the past two years, I have engaged in research aimed at leveraging language models to enhance requirements engineering and software development practice.
