Millenium Anthony is a Research Assistant at GPT-Lab supporting the Lab’s research and outreach activities. In this role, she particularly excited about bringing African perspectives into a global research environment.

 

She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam and has actively worked at the intersection of youth empowerment, digital inclusion, and STEM advocacy. As a Generation Connect Youth Envoy at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), she represents youth voices in global discussions on digital transformation.

 

With over four years of experience in advocating for girls in STEM, Millenium is dedicated to creating supportive ecosystems for young women to pursue, thrive, and lead in technology-related careers. She is also an active participant in international forums on the Internet governance, and innovation, bringing a Global South perspective to the table.

 

Beyond work, Millenium enjoys exploring nature and believes in embracing the balance between technological progress and life’s natural beauty.
