Join Our Research Team
GPT-Lab is part of Tampere University and follows the university’s official recruitment procedures. Any open research positions—such as research assistant, doctoral, or postdoctoral roles—are project-dependent and announced through Tampere University’s careers portal and our LinkedIn page.
We also offer Master’s thesis supervision opportunities to Tampere University students. These are academic opportunities intended to support student learning and are not tied to employment or compensation. In some cases, where project needs and funding align, students may later be considered for research positions through the official hiring process.
At GPT-Lab, we are building a collaborative, international research community advancing the future of artificial intelligence and software engineering. Our work connects universities, research groups, and industry partners across Finland and beyond—including Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Brazil, and Tanzania.
We actively seek new research collaborations, co-authorship opportunities, and co-organized events such as workshops and seminars. If you’re a researcher or academic institution interested in working with us, reach out directly to any of our team members listed on the Team page, or submit an inquiry here.
We also welcome expressions of interest from motivated PhD and postdoctoral candidates who want to contribute to the growing research agenda at GPT-Lab.
