Ph.D student

I am a Doctoral Researcher at GPT Lab, Tampere University, specializing in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, AI Agents and Generative AI to advance the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs).

With a Master’s degree in Data Science from Tampere University, Finland, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh, I bring a solid academic foundation combined with industry experience as a Software Engineer and Lecturer. In industry, I contributed to developing educational platforms and improving ERP systems, delivering effective technical solutions. In academia, I served as a Lecturer and Coordinator, where I designed and supervised academic programs, taught theoretical and practical courses, and guided final-year projects.

At GPT Lab, my current work focuses on designing efficient semantic search and contextual knowledge retrieval systems. This involves optimizing OpenAI GPT and open-source large language models like LLaMA by incorporating advanced retrieval mechanisms to enhance response relevance and minimize token usage through dynamic schema inclusion. Additionally, I am engaged in building intelligent systems powered by AI Agents that address complex real-world challenges, improving cutting-edge artificial intelligence techniques to deliver innovative and impactful solutions.
