I am Thinh Kieu, currently a student at Tampere University. With a solid academic foundation in Deep Learning models, I am passionate about exploring and extending the application of Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models to real-world challenges. Some topics that are of current interest to me include Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Structural NLP, and Signal-based NLP. My skillset also spans from Signal Processing (image, audio, speech) to Full Stack Development with React and Node.js.

 

As a Research Assistant at the GPT Lab, I contribute to the design and implementation of an advanced search system tailored for a political text corpus. This involves a combination of different systems utilizing universal dependency and parallelism to achieve efficiency. I’m excited to continue pushing the boundaries of intelligent search tools in service of deeper understanding and accessibility of texts.
